First Rejection

So…first sub didn’t work out. Not sure how I should take the quick turn around, but I’m going to go with slow period rather than alternatives 😉

Feel a bit disappointed, but this just means taking the opportunity to look over my piece again and submitting it somewhere new! And I’ve got a couple places in mind for my next attempts.

So it’s all good in the long run.

Graphic Novels and Writing

I don’t want to get into the specifics because they aren’t particularly important for this blog; what is important is that it reminded me of one graphic novel which I have been neglecting.

First submission

I just took a big step in my road to being a formal author. I’ve been writing for years now (I still have fanfic profiles set up), but I haven’t made the formal jump towards being published.

That changed just now.

So here’s hoping the response comes back positive, but in any case, here’s to the start of a new journey.
